I wanted to put this page up mostly as a library for me, a quick place to find and collect info on animal care. I use the term animal loosely, as some of them might not be animals, but insects, invertebrates or whatever.

Crawdad/Crawfish

As most of you already know, late in 2011 we rescued a crawdad last year off of the sidewalk. She was missing her claws and a few legs. We assumed she got picked up by one of the many birds and somehow got away. Since then she has molted a few times and has her claws and legs back and has moved into a 10 gallon tank. I had not kept crawdads before and it turns out it is pretty simple.
